WG2 Smart inorganic polymers - synthetic approaches to polymers with defined and optimised properties.

In WG2, state-of-the-art polymer design will be combined with recent advances in polymer processing. Thus, controlled and "living" polymerisation routes to different classes of inorganic polymers will be developed. New tailor-made inorganic, organic and organometallic building blocks (prepared in WG1) will be used as molecular precursors for the synthesis of novel inorganic polymers.
