Electrospun nanofibers of a copolymer consisting of polyvinylalcohol that has been crosslinked with an inorganic polymer containing phosphorus, oxygen and nitrogen only.

WG3 Advanced applications - smart properties and applications of inorganic polymers are the focus of this area.

Organic polymers have contributed very positively to improving the life quality of mankind, and can be considered the polymers of the 20th century. However, the technological challenges of the 21st century require an even higher degree of sophistication. Smart inorganic polymers will be a key to meeting these scientific challenges. In close collaboration with the industrial partners involved in the Action, members of WG3 will investigate future applications of the smart inorganic materials prepared in WG2.
